Relay Meetings with Members of the National Assembly from Northern Gyeonggi Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Oh Hu-seok, Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs of Gyeonggi Province, held a relay meeting with members of the National Assembly representing the northern Gyeonggi region and requested cooperation at the National Assembly level for the promotion of the Gyeonggi Northern Special Autonomous Province.

According to Gyeonggi Province on the 14th, Deputy Governor Oh met with National Assembly members Kim Seong-won (Dongducheon·Yeoncheon), Shim Sang-jung (Goyang Gap), Jo Eung-cheon (Namyangju Gap), Oh Young-hwan (Uijeongbu Gap), and Jeong Seong-ho (Yangju) on the 13th, stating, "The Gyeonggi Northern Special Autonomous Province will not only contribute to the development of northern Gyeonggi but will also become a new driving force for the growth of the Republic of Korea," and asked for their interest and cooperation.
The five lawmakers agreed on the necessity of establishing the Gyeonggi Northern Special Autonomous Province, a long-standing project for northern Gyeonggi, and promised to continuously communicate with Gyeonggi Province, unify their opinions, and support the initiative.
