Hansung Baekje Museum Hosts Joint Symposium on 'Ancient Times in World History'
In Collaboration with the Korean Ancient History Society
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Hansung Baekje Museum announced on the 14th that it will jointly hold a winter symposium titled "Ancient Times in World History - Concepts and Spatiotemporal Dimensions" with the Korean Ancient History Society on the 17th at the museum's main auditorium.
This jointly hosted symposium holds significance in discussing ancient times from various perspectives, not only in Korean ancient history and archaeology but also from the viewpoints of world history, including Chinese history, Japanese history, Middle Eastern history, Egyptian history, and Greco-Roman history.
Yoo Byungha, director of the Hansung Baekje Museum, stated, "We hope that this joint academic conference with the Korean Ancient History Society will serve as an opportunity to promote more active academic exchange and communication related to East Asian and world history beyond Korean ancient history," adding, "Going forward, the Hansung Baekje Museum will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various institutions related to Korean ancient history and archaeology."
