Seoul Institute of Technology 'Carbon Neutral City, Implementing Eco Seoul' Policy Talk Room
Discussion on Carbon Neutrality Experts' and Citizens' Opinions Collection and Policy Directions
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Institute of Technology announced on the 13th that it will hold a policy talk room tomorrow in the large conference room on the 20th floor of the Seosomun 2 Building in Seoul, under the theme "Carbon Neutral City, Realizing Eco Seoul," where carbon neutrality experts and Seoul city officials will discuss together.
This policy talk room was organized to diagnose the current status of Seoul's greenhouse gas reduction policies through research results such as the "Seoul Greenhouse Gas Reduction Status and Response Diagnosis" conducted by the Seoul Institute of Technology, and to propose new greenhouse gas reduction policies for Seoul.
The first topic is "Why has Seoul's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Stalled?" It will diagnose the current status of Seoul's greenhouse gas emissions and reduction policies, and comprehensively discuss the limitations and response strategies of past greenhouse gas reduction policies, including goal setting and implementation plans. In particular, various policies will be proposed and discussed, including ▲establishing consistent reduction policies, ▲setting specific reduction targets and reviewing quantitative performance linkage, ▲data-driven policy effect evaluation (feedback), and ▲discovering new policies and projects for greenhouse gas reduction.
The policy talk room is open to all citizens through the Seoul Institute of Technology's YouTube channel, where participants can leave comments via real-time chat and communicate with experts.
