12 Seoul Kindergartens Operate Full-Day Care Classrooms Until 10 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 12th that it will operate the 'Kindergarten All-day Care Classroom,' which can be used until 10 PM.
The Kindergarten All-day Care Classroom is operated at 12 kindergartens under six education support offices (Dongbu, Bukbu, Jungbu, Gangseo Yangcheon, Seongdong Gwangjin, Seongbuk Gangbuk), and the period is from the 2nd of next month until February 2024.
Children enrolled in daycare centers or kindergartens (ages 3 to 5) can use the service from 5 PM to 10 PM. Dinner is provided, and there is no additional charge.
Currently, public kindergartens operate until 8 PM, but if dual-income families or others want extended care, they can use the All-day Care Classroom. The Kindergarten All-day Care Classroom is also available on Saturdays.
