Hyundai BNG Steel Supports Housing Environment Improvement for Low-Income Families in Changwon City
Donation of 225 Million KRW Including Steel House
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the 8th, Hyundai BNG Steel donated 225 million KRW for a housing improvement project to support low-income families in Changwon Special City.
The project aims to support vulnerable groups in need of residential environment improvement within the district. It is jointly promoted by Hyundai BNG Steel and Masan General Social Welfare Center.

View original imageThe city investigates and recommends low-income households requiring home repairs such as boilers, wallpaper, wall covering, flooring, and window frames, as well as households needing new homes. Hyundai BNG Steel and Masan General Social Welfare Center provide support after on-site verification.
Since 2014, Hyundai BNG Steel has supported 7 steel house households and improved the residences of 412 households, and has been continuously carrying out social contribution projects such as building the Yongji Lake Eoullim Small Library.
Kim Seong-moon, the head of the Changwon plant, said, “We hope that our neighbors in difficulty can live in a more comfortable and safe place, even if just a little. We will strive to ensure that more citizens can benefit in the future.”
