Arrest of a Man in His 50s on Attempted Murder Charges for Stabbing an Acquaintance and Fleeing
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] The Dongjak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 7th that they have arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing a man in his 50s, Mr. B, whom he knew, with a weapon at a restaurant near Isu Station in Seoul at around 1:11 a.m. on the 5th, and then fleeing the scene.
After fleeing, Mr. A expressed his intention to surrender at around 3 p.m. the previous day, following the police's issuance of an arrest warrant and the start of the investigation.
