Seoul City Holds Global Conference to Strengthen Urban Competitiveness
'Seoul Urban Competitiveness Global Forum' at DDP on the 14th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 7th that it will hold the "Seoul Urban Competitiveness Global Forum" under the theme "Seoul, an Attractive City Accompanying Digitally" on the 14th from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza).
At this forum, Muhammad Yunus, the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, will deliver a keynote speech on the concept of a people-centered growing city and the direction of technological development.
In the following sessions, the forum will propose directions for Seoul to advance as an attractive city by integrating rapidly changing digital technologies with administration, and will engage in in-depth discussions on various innovative policies in Seoul for the vulnerable.
The forum will be held at the 'Design Lab' in DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) and will be broadcast live worldwide through Seoul City's official YouTube channel. Any citizen wishing to participate can watch it in real time.
