30s Man and Woman Sent to Prosecution for Drug Use at Gangnam Hotel

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man and a woman who used drugs together at a hotel in Seoul have been sent to the prosecution.
On the 6th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested and sent a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, and sent a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, on the same charges without detention.
Mr. A and Ms. B are accused of using drugs together at a hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 11:50 a.m. on the 28th of last month.
The police determined that the charge of quasi-rape against Mr. A was not recognized. Initially, Ms. B claimed that Mr. A secretly gave her drugs, but police investigation confirmed that they used drugs together. It is also known that they tested positive in a simple reagent test.
