Sacheon-si Promotes Rapid Architectural Complex Civil Complaint Processing Service Provision
Held a Communication Meeting with the Regional Architects Association

The city announced on the 6th that it held a communication meeting with the local architects' association for quick architectural permit civil complaint processing, attended by about 30 people including the architectural complex civil complaint department and executives of the local architects' association.
This communication meeting was prepared following Mayor Park Dong-sik's order at the 2023 major business plan briefing to "process civil complaints kindly and promptly from the complainant's perspective within the framework of the law."

View original imageThe meeting proceeded in the order of delivering key policies of the 8th elected term and major guidance related to architectural administration, listening to difficulties and suggestions.
In particular, to realize advanced architectural administration, cases of civil complaint processing in each field such as architecture, development activities, farmland and mountain forest conversion, and road occupancy permits were shared, and ways to shorten the civil complaint processing period were discussed.
The main causes of delays in civil complaint processing were found to be omissions in architectural design documents during the architectural permit process, incorrect entries in application forms, and inappropriate applications due to lack of knowledge of related regulations such as the Architecture Act.
The city plans to resolve unreasonable regulations and systems raised at the meeting, dissatisfaction caused by complicated permit procedures, and obstacles to shortening permit periods through continuous communication.
Additionally, by providing a "visiting on-site service," the city plans to actively listen to various opinions of complainants and resolve long-term unresolved civil complaints, thereby improving satisfaction with civil complaint services.
