Based on this, we will produce a high-quality report to enable the Daegu City Council to prepare institutional and policy improvement measures to reduce the harms of unfair transactions between primary and subcontractors.”
Afterwards, attending industry officials and city council members exchanged opinions on various ways for primary and subcontracting companies to cooperate and achieve mutual development, agreeing to actively cooperate to ensure smooth progress of the research.
Forum leader Representative Kim Jeong-ok said, “Today’s policy research project commencement briefing marks the start of our research group’s first task since its launch and the beginning of our activities for the new year. It is the first time that the research group has actively expressed opinions from the start of the research project,” adding, “We will continue in-depth research and active activities to produce excellent results by reflecting the diverse opinions raised today.”
