KOTRA Appoints Kim Tae-hyung as New CEO of Invest Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] KOTRA announced on the 1st that Kim Taehyung was appointed as the new CEO of Invest Korea on the 19th of last month.
Invest Korea is the national organization dedicated to attracting foreign investment, and the new CEO Kim Taehyung will lead the organization for two years.
New CEO Kim Taehyung graduated from Korea University with a degree in Economics and earned a master's and doctorate in Economics from the University of Washington in the United States. He has worked as an expert in international investment, global value chains, and international taxation at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, a U.S. legal-economic consulting group, and Deloitte in both the U.S. and Korea.
