Gyeonggi Office of Education Expands Common School Administrative Tasks from 6 to 11
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is expanding the school common administrative support projects of the Education Support Office from 6 to 11. This is a measure to strengthen on-site support.
Last year, the Office of Education formed a task force (TF) to support school common administrative tasks, discovered new possible support tasks, and reviewed their applicability on-site. On the 1st, it announced that this year it will additionally transfer 5 tasks: ▲support for disposal of unused items ▲support for integrated purchase of snacks for after-school programs at public kindergartens and elementary care classrooms ▲support for long-distance commuting expenses for students with special education needs ▲regular promotion and step determination for local government officials ▲support for drinking water management.
The Office of Education expects that strengthening the school support functions of the Education Support Office will create an environment where students can focus on education, thereby enhancing the educational capacity of schools.
