Seongnam City Opens Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival Website on the 31st

The official website screen of the Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival opened by Seongnam City on the 31st

[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province launched the official website of the Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival (www.2023snsports.kr) on the 31st.

Seongnam City announced that the website was created to strengthen the promotion of the 69th Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival and the 13th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Festival, which will be held from April to May at venues including Seongnam and Tancheon Sports Complex.

The homepage’s main screen is designed with the Seongnam Sports Complex main stadium, and at the bottom, there are clickable buttons for '69th Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival 2023 Seongnam' and '13th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Festival 2023 Seongnam.'

When accessing each event’s website, a new screen appears with five menus: ▲Event Introduction ▲Main Events ▲Competition Guide ▲Tourism Information ▲Participation Section.

By clicking each menu, users can easily check the schedules and venues for each sport, nearby accommodations, popular restaurants, and tourist information at a glance. Visitors can also leave messages of support for the athletes.

The Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival will be held from May 11 to 13, featuring 27 sports such as athletics, swimming, soccer, and tennis, with about 11,000 participants.

The Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Festival will take place from April 27 to 30, with about 4,000 participants competing in 17 sports including gateball, basketball, billiards, and dance sports.

The city will post real-time updates on the match brackets, competition results, photos, and promotional videos for each sport during the events on the website menus.

The official website for the Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival was developed using responsive web technology.
