Ostem Pharma to Launch Toothpaste-Type Gum Treatment 'Oxol Paste' in February
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Ostem Pharma announced on the 30th that it will launch the gum treatment 'Oxol Paste' on the 6th of next month.
Oxol is a toothpaste-type gum treatment that adds 'Enoxolone,' which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, to a general toothpaste formula with a herb spear flavor, allowing simultaneous brushing and gum disease treatment.
Enoxolone suppresses the expression of inflammatory factors in the oral cavity, preventing the destruction of the periodontium surrounding the teeth and root resorption, which shortens the tooth roots. It also has antibacterial functions against three types of bacteria that cause oral diseases.
Apply an appropriate amount to the inflamed or bleeding gum area, massage with a toothbrush, and rinse off. The recommended usage frequency is 2 to 3 times a day.
It is an over-the-counter drug available at pharmacies. If allergic symptoms such as rash or itching occur, discontinue use and consult a pharmacist or dentist.
