Ottogi's 'Ottogi Bap' Surpasses 2 Billion Units in Cumulative Production
Ottogi announced on the 30th that the cumulative production of 'Ottogi Instant Rice' has surpassed 2 billion units.
Since 2020, Ottogi Instant Rice has maintained an annual production volume of around 300 million units. According to Nielsen Korea, Ottogi Rice holds a 31.6% market share in the instant rice market over the past year.
Currently, Ottogi Instant Rice offers a total of 15 varieties across 4 lines: white rice types (3 kinds including white rice, Koshihikari, Gold Queen), mixed grains types (4 kinds including germinated brown rice, germinated black rice, glutinous brown rice, five grains), texture satisfaction types (4 kinds including fully glutinous thick rice, fluffy cooked rice, glutinous black mixed grain rice, soft brown mixed grain rice), and Omyu (4 kinds including spicy pork gochujang, oat mixed grains, mushroom doenjang, light meal brown rice).
In December last year, Ottogi changed the entire front packaging of its containers for the first time in 14 years. The new design has been fully applied to the Ottogi Rice white rice line, and preparations are underway for the mixed grains line. They also plan to hold purchase verification events to celebrate the package renewal and special deals on the Ottogi Mall.
