According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 27th, among 1,533 people who arrived at Incheon International Airport from China the previous day, 307 short-term foreign visitors underwent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing at the airport testing center, and 21 tested positive. The positive rate was 6.8%, more than double the previous day's rate of 3.3%. The airport test positive rate has remained in the single digits for 14 consecutive days.
Since the 2nd, a total of 36,876 people have entered through the airport from China. The cumulative positive rate for short-term visitors tested at the airport reached 10.4% (728 out of 6,977).
