Hansot Supplies Eco-Friendly FSC Certified Containers and Wet Wipes
Hansot announced on the 27th that it will strengthen its ESG leadership by fully adopting eco-friendly FSC-certified containers and wet wipes starting from the end of this month.
The FSC certification is an international certification system established by the Forest Stewardship Council to prevent deforestation and global environmental destruction caused by indiscriminate development. It is granted to wood and products produced in a sustainable manner.
Hansot's bowls have attracted industry attention as eco-friendly containers produced using the flexographic printing method. Flexographic printing increases efficiency compared to gravure printing, minimizing paper waste while significantly reducing ink usage and the use of organic solvents, harmful compounds, earning it the name "green printing." Additionally, by introducing FSC-certified paper, Hansot plans to further enhance eco-friendliness.
The wet wipes have become more eco-friendly and softer in texture as the material was changed from synthetic nonwoven fabric to 100% FSC-certified natural pulp.
