[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] Girl group BLACKPINK met Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, at a charity concert held in Paris, France.
According to the music industry on the 26th, BLACKPINK attended a charity concert held on the 25th (local time) at the Z?nith concert hall in Parc de la Villette, 19th arrondissement of Paris. BLACKPINK is known to have performed the title track "Shut Down" from their second full album at this event.

The concert, hosted by the French Hospital Foundation chaired by Mrs. Macron, is a fundraising event for children and adolescents hospitalized in hospitals. All proceeds from ticket sales and other funds raised at this concert will be donated in full to the French Hospital Foundation.
Mrs. Macron succeeded Bernadette Chirac, wife of former President Jacques Chirac, as chairperson of the foundation after 25 years in 2019.
