Pre-Opening of 'Dubai Royal Atlantis Hotel' Constructed by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction

View original imageSsangyong E&C announced on the 26th that the 'Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences,' scheduled for official opening early next month, held a VIP invitation preview event from the 20th to the 22nd.
This hotel is a large-scale project located on the Palm Jumeirah artificial island in Dubai, consisting of three 44-story ultra-luxury hotel towers with 795 rooms and three premium residence towers with 231 units. The hotel features 109 swimming pools and an aquarium. The project was commissioned in December 2015 by the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), then the largest shareholder of Ssangyong E&C, and Ssangyong E&C, as the project lead, jointly won the contract with Belgium’s BESIX for $1.254 billion (approximately 1.55 trillion KRW).
During the three-day event, various pre-experience programs were offered, including hotel room stays, swimming pools, and water sports. Ssangyong E&C also reported that Beyonc? held her first concert since 2018, attracting significant attention.

From Ssangyong E&C, Chairman Kim Woong-ki of Global Sea, Chairman Kim Seok-jun of Ssangyong E&C, and CEO Kim Ki-myung attended as official invitees. During their business trip, they also held meetings with senior ICD officials, Ssangyong E&C shareholders, and the client’s chief executive officers (CEOs).
