Short-term Stayers from China Testing Positive at 3.3%... Single Digits for 13 Consecutive Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Byun Seon-jin] The positivity rate among arrivals from China who were immediately tested at the airport was found to be 3.3%.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 26th, out of 1,467 people who arrived at Incheon International Airport from China the previous day, 274 short-term foreign visitors underwent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing at the airport testing center, and 9 tested positive. The positivity rate was 3.3%, slightly higher than the previous day's 2.7%. The airport test positivity rate has remained in single digits for 13 consecutive days.
Since the 2nd, a total of 35,343 people have entered through airports from China. The cumulative airport test positivity rate for short-term visitors reached 10.6% (707 out of 6,670).

Meanwhile, among the new confirmed cases on the day, 34 were imported cases. Of these, 22 (64.7%) were arrivals from China.
