Daejeon City Supports Female Farmers with 'Happiness Voucher'... 200,000 KRW Per Person
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 23rd that it will accept applications for participation in the ‘Women Farmers Happiness Voucher Support Project’ from the 26th to the 28th of this month.
The project is implemented by providing voucher cards worth 200,000 KRW per person to women farmers residing in Daejeon.
The eligible recipients are women farmers aged 19 to under 75, residing in Daejeon and registered as agricultural business operators, either as owners or non-owners, whose total comprehensive income from non-agricultural sources for themselves and their spouses is less than 37 million KRW, and who are not receiving similar welfare services.
Support applications can be submitted by attaching income certificates of the applicant and their spouse, as well as family relation certificates, along with the application form to the administrative welfare center with jurisdiction over their residence.

If selected as a final beneficiary, applicants can deposit a self-pay amount of 20,000 KRW at an NH Nonghyup Bank branch and receive a voucher card that can be used up to 200,000 KRW annually.
