They also added, "We will open communication channels to engage with other small business owners." To this end, on the same day, they proceeded with the employment succession procedures for employees in front of the golf course clubhouse and installed two temporary tents to facilitate communication with small business owners.
Previously, the KMH Shilla Leisure Consortium signed a new operator contract for the golf course with Incheon International Airport Corporation in October 2020. However, the existing operator, Sky72, claimed that their contract period with Incheon Airport Corporation had not expired and refused to hand over the golf course site, preventing the new business from starting. Ultimately, the airport corporation filed a lawsuit against Sky72 demanding the return of the land and transfer of ownership, and in December of last year, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the airport corporation.

Even after the Supreme Court ruling, Sky72 did not hand over the golf course site to Incheon Airport Corporation. On the 17th, the Incheon District Court proceeded with forced execution, during which about 1,000 people, including court enforcement officers and employees of service companies on both sides of the facility tenants, engaged in physical confrontations. The area around the golf course turned chaotic with water cannons and fire extinguishers being sprayed. Eight individuals who obstructed the court's forced execution were arrested by the police on charges of obstructing official duties, were booked without detention, investigated, and then released.
