Lotte Duty Free Opens Downtown Stores in Major Cities... Expanding Overseas Presence
Lotte Duty Free expanded its presence in the overseas duty-free market last year by newly opening stores in downtown Sydney, Australia, and downtown Da Nang, Vietnam.
The Sydney downtown store spans a total area of approximately 3,000㎡ (907 pyeong) across three floors, housing around 150 brands in categories such as cosmetics, perfumes, liquor, watches, and jewelry. As Lotte Duty Free's first new store in the Oceania region, it is expected to generate sales of 1 trillion KRW over the next 10 years through the Sydney downtown store.

The Da Nang downtown store is Lotte Duty Free's fourth and largest store in Vietnam. Located on the 2nd floor of VV Mall near My Khe Beach, it is surrounded by global resorts, hotels, casinos, and other tourism commercial facilities, offering very high accessibility for tourists. Lotte Duty Free aims to capture more than 60% of the Vietnam duty-free market share in the future.
