Positive Rate of Short-Term Entrants from China at 4.3%... Single Digit Maintained for Five Consecutive Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Byun Seon-jin] The positive rate among arrivals from China who were immediately tested at the airport was found to be 4.3%.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 18th, out of 1,914 people who arrived at Incheon International Airport from China the previous day, 352 short-term foreign visitors underwent PCR testing at the airport testing center, and 15 were confirmed positive.
The positive rate was 4.3%, slightly higher than the previous day’s 3.5%, which was the lowest since quarantine measures for arrivals from China were strengthened.
The airport test positive rate has remained in single digits for five consecutive days.

Since the 2nd, a total of 22,730 people have arrived at the airport via China. The cumulative positive rate for short-term visitors tested at the airport is 13.2% (613 out of 4,231), showing a continuous decline.
