Jongam-dong House Fire: Woman in Her 20s Booked on Arson Charges
Fire in Five-Story Multi-Family House... Firefighting Response Level 1 Issued
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A woman in her 20s who set fire to a multi-family house is under police investigation.
On the 18th, the Jongam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked a woman in her 20s, identified as A, on suspicion of arson at a multi-family house in Jongam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
The previous day, around 7 p.m., a fire broke out in a five-story multi-family house in Jongam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and was extinguished within an hour. Seven residents of the building were rescued by firefighters and evacuated to temporary shelters.
The fire department issued a "Response Level 1" alert and mobilized all personnel and resources.

A police official stated, "A is currently in custody," and added, "She is scheduled to be questioned starting this morning."
