Starting from this fall semester, the program will be conducted in a total of nine fields closely related to the battery industry, including biochemical engineering, chemistry, new materials, electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, and AI. After passing each course, candidates will be selected through a separate interview for the program. Employment at SK On is guaranteed upon degree completion.
SK On plans to provide selected students with tuition and personal scholarships, and will connect current SK On researchers with students to offer special lectures on the latest battery technologies and career mentoring.
SK On, which has led battery technology management by developing the world's first high-nickel battery, is making efforts to secure human resources through industry-academia cooperation with various universities. Last year, it launched industry-academia education programs with Sungkyunkwan University, Hanyang University, and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), and announced the establishment of industry-academia cooperation centers with Yonsei University and Hanyang University.
