[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) held a joint agreement ceremony on the 17th to jointly promote 'Happy Management Season 2' for work-life balance by expanding employee welfare.
In January last year, Seongdong-gu became the first local government to jointly declare 'Happy Management' by labor and management, marking the first year of Happy Management, successfully implementing 10 projects in two areas: employee welfare and workplace environment improvement, significantly increasing employee satisfaction.
In particular, ▲expanded support for employee health checkup expenses ▲special leave granted on birthdays ▲kindness administration projects such as MBTI education and Kind Communication Concert ▲events commemorating Labor Day received great responses from employees and contributed to boosting morale.
This year, 10 new projects prioritizing employees' minds and welfare will be additionally discovered, and together with existing projects, a total of 20 customized welfare projects will be promoted.
This year's new projects include ▲activation of rest programs for employees' healing and stress relief ▲expansion of support for workplace clubs ▲transfer of the dedicated team for parking violation complaints during on-duty hours to reduce on-duty workload ▲expansion of group insurance coverage ▲support for job stress psychological counseling.
An employee who participated in the agreement ceremony said, “Through the Happy Management projects, I found peace of mind and it became an opportunity to create an atmosphere where employees respect and care for each other.”
