Gwangju Dong-gu "Please Recommend This Year's Book"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is conducting a survey related to the ‘Book of the Year’ until the 30th.
Now in its 4th year, the ‘Book of the Year’ project is a social reading movement in the humanities city of Dong-gu, selecting a total of 10 books across categories such as infants, children, adolescents, and general, and operating various reading culture programs throughout the year.
Dong-gu plans to finalize the ‘Book of the Year’ (10 books) through review by the book selection committee and resident preference voting based on the books collected from the survey.
In addition, 80 selected excellent books including the ‘Book of the Year’ will be used as ‘Recommended Books for Dong-gu Residents’ for book support projects and reading culture programs to enhance residents’ enjoyment of reading culture.

Survey participation is possible online via the Dong-gu website and the mobile app ‘Dudream,’ or by email submission, where participants can write the title of the book they want to read together and the reason for recommendation.
