Ha Tae-kyung "Na, Wrongly Linking Yoon's Moves with Candidacy... Indecisive Attitude"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Rep. Ha Tae-kyung of the People Power Party criticized former Rep. Na Kyung-won's camp for setting her candidacy timing after President Yoon Seok-yeol returns from his overseas trip, saying, "It is wrong to keep linking it with the president."
On the 17th, Rep. Ha said on MBC's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' program, "The biggest issue regarding former Rep. Na's bid for party leader is that it is being linked to the president's movements."
He said, "Why wait until the president returns? Constantly linking it with the president can be perceived by the Blue House as trying to negotiate something," adding, "While the official announcement date can be set, regarding the candidacy issue, running for party leader is almost a checkmate."
He continued, "If she doesn't run, the very meaning of 'politician Na Kyung-won' disappears, so although her candidacy is almost a foregone conclusion, she keeps testing the waters, giving that impression," and criticized, "this is a rather indecisive attitude as a leader."

Earlier, regarding former Rep. Na's prolonged hesitation over resigning from her position as Vice Chair of the Low Birthrate and Aging Society Committee, he said, "One cannot hold a government post and a party position simultaneously. Therefore, if she intended to run for party leader, she should have resigned promptly," and added, "But since she dragged her feet, neither here nor there, the Blue House viewed her as unqualified as a public official and dismissed her," criticizing her response.
