Ulsan City to Reduce City Bus Services During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City will reduce the number of city buses in operation from the 21st to the 24th in preparation for a decrease in passengers during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The reduced city bus routes were determined based on passenger demand during past holiday periods, but the reduction scale was minimized for routes passing through the Intercity Express Bus Terminal and Taehwagang Station, where a high number of passengers is expected.
On the first day, the 21st, 323 buses will be reduced; on the 22nd, the day of Lunar New Year, 398 buses; on the 23rd, 378 buses; and on the 24th, 302 buses will be reduced.
The five limousine bus routes connected to Ulsan Station will operate two additional runs at 0:30 and 0:55 after midnight on the 22nd to accommodate KTX passengers arriving after 0:00 on Lunar New Year’s Day.
Also, five routes (127, 307, 401, 527, 1713) passing through the Intercity Bus Terminal and Taehwagang Station will have their last bus times extended by 5 to 30 minutes per route from the 21st to the 24th.
