[Tomorrow Weather] Seoul 'Low -8°C' Cold Wave on Commute

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] On the 16th, the morning low temperature in Seoul is expected to continue the cold wave, recording minus 8 degrees Celsius. Additionally, snow or rain will fall in some areas of Gangwon Yeongseo and Gyeongbuk, and the weather is expected to gradually clear up from the afternoon.
On the 15th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted the expected snowfall from today until tomorrow as 3 to 10 cm in the Gangwon mountain areas, central Gangwon, and northern Gangwon East Coast (with more than 15 cm in the northern Gangwon mountain areas), 1 to 5 cm in inland Gangwon, southern Gangwon East Coast, northeastern Gyeongbuk mountain areas, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and around 1 cm in the Jeju mountain areas. The KMA stated, "Snow or rain will fall in Gangwon Yeongseo until dawn on the 16th, and in Gangwon Yeongdong, northeastern Gyeongbuk mountain areas, and Jeju until the morning."
Tomorrow morning temperatures will drop sharply by about 5 to 10 degrees, making it very cold. The morning low temperature will range from -12 to 0 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature will be around -3 to 7 degrees Celsius.
The morning low temperatures in major areas are Seoul -8°C, Incheon -8°C, Suwon -8°C, Chuncheon -6°C, Gangneung -1°C, Cheongju -6°C, Daejeon -7°C, Jeonju -5°C, Gwangju -3°C, Daegu -2°C, Busan 0°C, and Jeju 3°C.
The daytime high temperatures are Seoul -1°C, Incheon -2°C, Suwon -1°C, Chuncheon -1°C, Gangneung 5°C, Cheongju 0°C, Daejeon 1°C, Jeonju 1°C, Gwangju 2°C, Daegu 3°C, Busan 7°C, and Jeju 4°C.
