Sacheon-si Publishes Key Agricultural Policies for Sacheon Agriculture This Year

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sacheon City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that it has published a booklet containing key agricultural policies and farming news for this year to support local farmers.
The city issued 1,300 copies of a booklet titled "2023 Sacheon Agriculture Major Policies" to address current issues through promotion of agricultural and rural policies and departmental projects in response to changes in the agricultural environment.
This booklet is composed of changes in agricultural and rural policies for 2023, support projects and major tasks of agricultural-related departments such as the Agriculture and Livestock Division, Future Agriculture Division, and Technical Support Division, as well as other promotional information.
In particular, it contains detailed plans and budgets for a total of 199 projects, including 102 in the agriculture and livestock sector, 36 in the future agriculture sector, and 61 in the technical support sector.
Farmers can receive the booklet by visiting the Agricultural Technology Center or the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers. It will also be distributed at the upcoming New Year Practical Education for Farmers. However, distribution will continue only while supplies last.

Jung Dae-woong, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We expect to promote income increase for farmers and improvement of the farming environment through agricultural policy measures by sector," adding, "We plan to continue discovering and supporting various projects in the future."
