Toyota Ranks No.1 in Global New Car Sales for Three Consecutive Years
Sales Expected to Exceed 10 Million Units Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Japan's Toyota has secured the number one spot in the global new car sales market for three consecutive years. On the 13th, Yomiuri Shimbun reported that Toyota Motor Corporation Group, including Daihatsu Motor and Hino Motors, sold 9.56 million new cars worldwide from January to November last year.
Toyota is expected to announce its full-year results at the end of this month. It is projected to exceed 10 million units sold for the second consecutive year.
Toyota of Japan has secured the number one position in the global new car sales market for three consecutive years.
