Boseong-gun Holds Traditional Market Shopping Event for Lunar New Year

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that from the 17th to the 20th, a four-day traditional market shopping event for the Lunar New Year will be held at eight traditional markets in the towns and townships within the county to revitalize local traditional markets.
The shopping event will start on the 17th at Nokchagol Boseong Hyangto Market, followed by Joseong 5-day Market on the 18th, Beolgyo Traditional Market, Boknae 5-day Market, and Hoecheon 5-day Market on the 19th, and Yedang 5-day Market on the 20th.
During the shopping event, campaigns promoting the purchase locations of Boseong Love Gift Certificates, the use of cards and paper coupons, and the distribution of shopping bags will be conducted to stimulate the local economy.
A county official said, "This event was prepared to offer some support to traditional market merchants ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday," adding, "We will encourage small business owners and residents who are struggling due to the sluggish economy, listen to their difficulties, and devise measures to stabilize the livelihood economy and revitalize the local economy so that everyone can have a happy Lunar New Year."
Meanwhile, the discount rate for the local currency, Boseong Love Gift Certificates, is maintained at 10%, actively responding to promote consumption and revitalize the local economy.
