A Woman in Her 20s Sets Fire in Apartment After Quarreling with Partner
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] A woman in her 20s who set fire to an apartment after arguing with her partner was arrested by the police.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 13th that they have booked A (in her 20s) on charges of arson of an occupied building.
A is suspected of setting fire to her residence on the 4th floor of an apartment in Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at around 7:53 a.m. that day.
It was investigated that she set fire to her jeans during an argument while drinking with her partner.
The fire spread, burning the interior of the house, and was extinguished after about 20 minutes.
There were no casualties, but about 50 residents were evacuated in the commotion.
