This exhibition features works by four artists: Yoon Hyun-mi, Lim Sun-hee, Cho Young-hee, and Choi Myung-ji, composed of pieces that realize the values of eco-friendliness and recycling such as urban regeneration and environmental improvement.
In particular, it offers a glimpse into the status and potential of cultural arts as a rebirth of remnants beyond recycling, presenting new forms of art through creative challenges and experiments.
Artist Yoon Hyun-mi presented works that give life to art by connecting leftover fabrics, while artist Lim Sun-hee exhibited works using various materials with unique handcrafted techniques.
Artist Cho Young-hee introduced works harmonizing the functional aspects and aesthetics of discarded home appliances, and artist Choi Myung-ji captured the splendid transformation of waste with the motif of ‘waste that is no longer waste’ in her works.
Park Myung-chul, Head of Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, said, “This exhibition shows the direction we should move toward in the future at the new intersection of recycling and art,” adding, “Busan Bank will continue to expand sincere social contribution projects through ESG management practices.”
