PIPC Launches Investigation into LG Uplus over Customer Information Leak

LG Uplus confirmed the leakage of personal information of approximately 180,000 customers. The leaked information varies by individual but includes names, dates of birth, and phone numbers.
The Personal Information Protection Commission conducted an on-site investigation at LG Uplus's Sangam office building on the same day.
