Galleria Department Store Presents 70-Year Aged Limited Edition Whiskey as Lunar New Year Gift Set
Galleria Department Store announced on the 10th that it will showcase Gordon & MacPhail's limited edition whiskey, the 'Platinum Jubilee 70 Years,' as a premium Lunar New Year gift set.
This whiskey was released last year to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne and is one of Gordon & MacPhail's oldest single malt whiskeys. It was distilled in 1952, the year the Queen ascended the throne, and aged for 70 years in 50L wooden casks previously used for sherry wine maturation.
