Driving Consumer Convenience in Travel and Daily Life
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Tmap's real-time popular place congestion area search service 'T(Now)' has surpassed 10 million cumulative users. It was found that 9 out of 10 users consistently used the service.
Tmap Mobility announced on the 6th that as of this month, T(Now) has a cumulative user count of 10.6 million and a reuse rate exceeding 85%. T(Now) is a service that displays real-time driving data from more than 19 million drivers nationwide. By setting radius filters at 500m, 1km, 3km, 5km, 10km, or nationwide levels, it shows up to 50 destinations most frequently set by drivers ranked accordingly. The number of users has steadily increased. The number of users who tried the service was about 1.88 million in September 2021, and the cumulative number exceeded 10 million in October last year.
The reuse rate is also high. The reuse rate, which was only 35% one month after the service launch (September 2021), reached 85% by the end of last year. Users who did not use the service for more than two months were excluded from the reuse user count.

In newly visited areas, it is possible to find the currently most popular tourist spots, and during meal times, the most popular restaurants nearby. The company explains that T(Now) is highly reliable because it is based on real-time destination driving data without artificial reviews or abuse, so it does not include so-called contaminated information. It allows consumers to quickly and accurately identify popular places for their desired purposes anytime and anywhere, leading to word-of-mouth and a steady increase in usage.
