Nasangho Qatar World Cup National Team Player Donates to Hometown Damyang
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 3rd that Nasangho, a national team player of the Qatar World Cup, donated 5 million won as a hometown love donation to his hometown Damyang, participating in the love for his hometown.
Player Nasangho was born in 1996 in Subuk-myeon, Damyang-gun, attended Neungju Elementary School, Gwangyang Middle School, Kumho High School, and Dankook University, and is currently the captain of FC Seoul. He played a key role in the national team that achieved the round of 16 in the recent Qatar World Cup.
Player Na said, “I donated with the hope that my hometown Damyang, which holds childhood memories, will continue to develop into a livable city,” and added, “I hope the hometown love donation will be used for meaningful projects for regional development.”
The hometown love donation system allows donations up to 5 million won annually. Individuals who donate to their hometown or other local governments instead of their current address receive tax credit benefits and return gifts.
The county selected 14 items such as rice, Korean beef, grilled short rib patties, traditional liquor, and cultural tourism contents as return gifts to ensure the successful establishment of the hometown love donation system.
The hometown love donation can be applied for through the 'Hometown Love e-um' website or by visiting one of the more than 5,900 Nonghyup branches nationwide.
The Hometown Love e-um system provides comprehensive services including donation, selection and delivery of return gifts, and automatic tax credit processing.
