Drunk Driver Crashes into Entrance of Gwangju 5·18 Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] At around 4:10 a.m. on the 2nd, an accident occurred when an SUV driven by A (44) crashed into the entrance of the 5·18 Memorial Culture Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The vehicle pushed inside the first floor of the building and stopped after hitting the entrance to the underground parking lot.
There were no casualties in the accident, but the entrance door and some facilities on the first floor were damaged.
It was reported that A drove the vehicle in a state of memory loss after drinking alcohol nearby, causing the accident.
A's blood alcohol concentration was investigated to be at the level of license cancellation.
