Hana Tour's Overseas Air Ticket Sales Reach 696.3 Billion Won Last Year... 580% Increase

Hana Tour announced on the 2nd that its overseas airline ticket sales revenue reached 696.3 billion KRW last year, marking a 580.2% increase compared to the previous year. This is the 25th consecutive year Hana Tour has ranked first based on the BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) performance.
In 2022, Hana Tour sold overseas airline tickets to 769,000 passengers. The number of passengers increased significantly from 37,000 in the first quarter to 427,000 in the fourth quarter. The average ticket price per person was 906,000 KRW.
By region, Southeast Asia, centered on Thailand and Vietnam, accounted for 39.6% of sales. Japan accounted for 21.9%, Europe 17.1%, the Americas 14.0%, the South Pacific 5.5%, and China 1.3%. By airline route, Osaka had the highest share at 7.5%, followed by Bangkok at 7.1%, Tokyo at 5.6%, Ho Chi Minh City at 3.8%, and Guam at 3.2%. By airline, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines held 31.8%, foreign airlines 32.0%, and domestic low-cost carriers (LCCs) 36.2% of the market share.
