Khan Heats Up 'Daum Sohee' Coming in February
'Next Sohee,' the first Korean film selected as the closing film of the Critics' Week at the 75th Cannes Film Festival last year, will meet audiences next month.
On the 2nd, Twin Plus Partners announced that 'Next Sohee' will be released in February.
The film depicts the story of Sohee, a spirited eighteen-year-old high school student, who experiences an incident during her field training, and detective Yujin, who investigates the case and encounters it in the same space but at a different time.
It is the new work of director Jung Joo-ri, who was invited to the Un Certain Regard section at the 69th Cannes Film Festival with 'Dohee-ya' (2014). Following her previous work, actress Bae Doona stars again, and newcomer Kim Si-eun takes on her first leading role in a feature film.

In the poster released that day, there is an image of Bae Doona as detective Yujin, who appears to be searching for someone. The sorrowful expression of Sohee, who seems to be looking at Yujin with a blurred focus, raises curiosity about her story.
