GeoYoung Delivers 4.5 Million Masks to Army Training Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Pharmaceutical logistics group GeoYoung announced on the 29th that it has delivered 4.5 million masks to the Army Training Center under the Army Education Command to support quarantine efforts for military personnel. This is the largest quantity among GeoYoung's own mask support activities this year.
This mask delivery was made to support the quarantine activities of army trainees as the recent resurgence of COVID-19 has increased. The Army Training Center explained that since trainees enlisted from all over the country live together in indoor spaces called barracks, this support aims to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

At the delivery ceremony, Yu Gwang-ryeol, CEO of GeoYoung Networks, said, “Winter is a season with a high possibility of simultaneous outbreaks of influenza and COVID-19,” adding, “It is important to promptly and proactively suppress additional spread and resurgence through preemptive group and individual quarantine support for our military personnel, who are likely to live in close quarters.”
