Eco-friendly 'Value Consumption' Gift Sets Also Available
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Galleria Department Store announced on the 27th that from January 3 to 21 next year, it will begin the main sales of the '2023 Seollal Gift Sets' at the food halls of all its branches.
Reflecting recent consumer trends, Galleria has simultaneously strengthened both ultra-premium gift sets and mid-to-low priced cost-effective gift sets. It also offers a variety of value-consumption gift sets such as wines produced through eco-friendly methods.
As an ultra-premium gift set, Galleria is introducing the limited edition whiskey 'Platinum Jubilee 70 Years.' This whiskey was released to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession and is one of Gordon & MacPhail's oldest single malt whiskeys. Only one bottle has been stocked at Galleria, priced at 44 million KRW. High-priced wine gift sets over 2 million KRW, including Ch?teau Mouton, Ch?teau Latour, and Harlan Estate, are also available.
Reflecting demand for unique ingredients, premium gift sets composed of the finest domestic and international ingredients have been planned. Representative sets include the 'Truffle Collaboration Set,' 'Premium Wasabi Set,' and 'World Delicacies Set.'
Galleria has also prepared gift sets of the premium Korean beef brand 'Gangjin Maekwoo,' a popular item in Galleria's gift sets. The cattle are raised by feeding them fermented aged Makgeolli, resulting in tender meat and a savory taste.
Galleria has strengthened mid-to-low priced gift sets under 200,000 KRW. The number of cost-effective gift set items such as fruits, manufactured goods, and health foods has increased by 30% compared to last Seollal. Offline, products priced between 100,000 and 150,000 KRW have been expanded, and online sales have increased products priced under 100,000 KRW. Popular items include the Gourmet Korean Beef Set, Jeju Fruit Mixed Set, and Premium Nut Set.
Additionally, a variety of cost-effective gifts priced under 100,000 KRW are offered through the 'Galleria Online Mall' and 'KakaoTalk Gift' services.
Galleria is also introducing value-consumption gift sets reflecting eco-friendly trends such as eco-friendly and low-carbon certification and vegan gift sets for this Seollal. Representative items include low-carbon Hallabong and low-carbon Shine Muscat mixed sets (眞) cultivated using low-carbon farming methods, eco-friendly Bongok dried persimmon sets, and vegan ready meal sets.
