With a cold wave advisory issued for the central inland, some eastern inland areas of Jeolla, and inland areas of North Gyeongsang, morning temperatures will range from -15 to -10 degrees Celsius in northern and eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, and northern inland North Gyeongsang, while other inland areas will see temperatures between -10 and -5 degrees Celsius.
As of 7 a.m., temperatures were Seoul -7.2°C, Incheon -5.7°C, Suwon -10.1°C, Chuncheon -12.5°C, Gangneung -1.5°C, Cheongju -8.0°C, Daejeon -8.2°C, Jeonju -5.8°C, Gwangju -3.9°C, Jeju 5.9°C, Daegu -7.2°C, Busan 0.0°C, Ulsan -1.0°C, Changwon -1.0°C, etc.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius.
Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy, while the rest of the country will be clear initially, with clouds gradually increasing from the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region.
Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to receive 1 to 3 cm of snow by daytime.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Sejong, and Chungbuk, while other regions will experience levels ranging from 'good' to 'moderate.'
However, Incheon, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk are expected to have temporarily 'bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
