Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Includes Foreign Languages in Indoor Fire Hydrant User Manuals
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 26th, the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced that stickers showing the indoor fire hydrant usage instructions in both Korean and foreign languages must be attached.
According to the fire safety standards for indoor fire hydrant facilities newly established in March, signs indicating usage instructions must be posted near the indoor fire hydrant facility box, and these signs must include foreign languages and visual illustrations.
Until now, most indoor fire hydrants were labeled only in Korean, causing significant difficulties for foreigners when using them.
