AmorePacific Relaunches Dandruff Shampoo 'Dantrol'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Amorepacific announced on the 26th that it will newly launch the dandruff shampoo Dantrol, which was discontinued 6 months ago.
Amorepacific explained that it decided to re-release the product by reflecting hundreds of purchase inquiries and user reviews received through its website and customer center since its discontinuation last June.
The product lineup includes three representative items of Dantrol: ‘Deep Clean Mint Salt Shampoo,’ ‘Cooling Menthol Carbonated Water Shampoo,’ and ‘Refreshing Scent Fresh Apple Shampoo.’
The new products maintain the same feel and scalp efficacy as the previous ones, while the packaging is designed using sustainable material PCR PET. It cares for five symptoms appearing on dandruff-prone scalps?dandruff, itching, excessive sebum, dryness, and scalp odor?and applies the Hair Clumping Filter™ technology to remove stickiness and oiliness from the hair. It is a mildly acidic product that has completed an eye irritation alternative test, contains no six harmful ingredients, and uses a mild formula for comfortable scalp use.
Dantrol has received steady consumer interest for about 30 years since its launch in 1992, but due to a recent decline in pure dandruff shampoo demand, it was discontinued last June.
