Namwon-si Roller Sports Federation Delivers Samgyetang to Vulnerable Families

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] The Jeonbuk Namwon City Roller Sports Federation (President Lee Sang-gil) announced on the 26th that it will support 100 servings of Samgyetang to economically vulnerable families (grandparent-grandchild, single-parent) in the area during the year-end and New Year holidays. The support will be provided to families of two middle schools (Namwon Middle School, Namwon Haneul Middle School) and three elementary schools (Namwon Elementary School, Namwon Jungang Elementary School, Namwon Yongseong Elementary School) within Namwon City.

This event was organized and sponsored by the Namwon City Roller Sports Federation, with the aim of helping members of the SamSamDon Volunteer King (SamSamDon CEO Wang Hong-seok) and Roller Sports Federation members to spend a healthy and warm year-end season.

The prepared Samgyetang will be delivered to each family by the teachers in charge of the educational welfare projects at each school.

President Lee Sang-gil said, “I would like to thank Vice President Lee Seong-ok and CEO Wang Hong-seok, who worked hard both materially and spiritually to make this event possible, as well as Treasurer Jang Gil-su, Director Jeong Gye-hwan, Director Kim Hyun-young, Secretary-General Park Hyo-jin, and the volunteer group members who participated despite their busy schedules.”

He added, “In the future, the Namwon City Roller Sports Federation will continue its volunteer work not only for athlete development but also to help adolescents from economically vulnerable families grow up healthily.”

Vice President Lee Seong-ok, who participated in the event, said, “It seems to have been a more meaningful time since it was held on a day cold enough to issue a heavy snow warning.”
