A Mixed-Use Residential Facility to Be Built on Yangcheon-gu Bus Depot Site
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] A mixed-use residential facility will be built on the site of a bus garage in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.
On the 23rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Government held the 6th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee Delegated Subcommittee and announced on the 25th that it had approved the amendment to the Sinjeong Living Area Central District Unit Plan and the detailed development plan decision for the Sinjeong Special Planning Zone with modifications.
This area was designated as a bus garage under urban planning facilities in 1979, but lost its function after relocating to the Yangcheon Public Garage in 2006 and remained unused.
Accordingly, Seoul decided to abolish the urban planning facility that lost its function and build residential, retail, and neighborhood living facilities. A total of 117 households will be supplied, and as part of the public contribution, a regional self-support center, a comprehensive childcare support center, and a facility management corporation will also be constructed.
